I am a proud military brat, born in Japan and raised around the world with my sister and brothers and my parents, now Retired U.S. Navy Vets. I currently reside in Manassas Park, VA with my hubby and 2 kids, 11 yr old girl (going on 30) and 2 yr old boy (WHAT? I just had him!). I am an Executive Assistant at a prominent global power systems company. I am also a Lia Sophia Jewelry Advisor-High Fashion Jewelry at affordable costs, for the Diva that wants it all! Eventually I do plan to go back to school and major in……something!!! Business Management? Hospitality & Event Management? Early Childhood Education? I don’t know yet, I’m still trying to figure that out. Some days I want to be a teacher or run a day care. Some days I want to run a Bed and Breakfast or a hotel. And some days I just want to do absolutely NOTHING! But that’s crazy talk and wishful thinking. One thing I do know is I will be taking culinary classes. I LOVE TO COOK! And eat!!! I want to learn everything I can about food. I enjoy shopping…more like I LOVE shopping and getting great deals! I love spending time with my family…movie night, game night…even the occasional healthy junk food night-yes there is such a thing. Toni and I started this blog to help moms like ourselves and Mr. Mom’s. Parents with super busy schedules and not enough time for to organize your life. The conscientious shopper aka Neiman Marcus Style on a Wal-Mart budget. We also started this blog also to give parents ideas on how to get the kids from in front of the TV, computer and video games and get them outside, helping with meal prep and even doing their chores.
